Moss Hollow Pottery:Beads & Braiding

Artifacts in Pink, porcelain elements by Moss Hollow Pottery

Moss Hollow Pottery started as a studio for functional and decorative art pottery but now focuses almost entirely on ceramic beads, pendants, and elements for the jewelry designer as well as decorative braiding and knotting.

In addition to my own beads, I also offer beads and pendants made by other American artists as well as some that are imported from areas of the world as diverse as Peru and Bulgaria.

I carry a wide variety of textiles for braiding and knotting including the hard to find mizuhiki, Cord-On knotting cord, and rattail in 3 sizes.

Kumihimo boards and stands are always avialable.  I carry 4 different portable (foam) boards as well as a lovely hardwood marudai and 85 gram bobbins.

Please email me at MossHollowPottery@verizon.net with specific product requests.  Some products are listed in my webstore at www.wagglepop.com/stores/moss-hollow-arts but this is not nearly a full listing! I'm constantly trying to get everything in the store but it's a never-ending process!  So, you'll want to check back often, as the line-up is always expanding.

Additionally, I participate in most of the Innovative Beads Expo shows in the North East (where I both sell and teach braiding & knotting classes) as well as the Manning House Bead Show in Tucson, AZ during gem & mineral month (February).

Classes

If you're interested in having me teach a class at your bead store, library, bead society, etc please email me at MossHollowPottery@verizon.net

If you're interested in taking one of my classes you may register at the websites for the shows: http://www.innovativebeadsexpo.com/ or at www.MHBeadShow.com

My new book, Braiding for Beaders was published in Feburary and is available for $18.95.  This book focuses entirely on 2 simple braids that are especially useful for the jewelry designer.  It's 28 pages, full color, and spiral bound for ease of use.
