2010 classes will be posted soon.
I will not be teaching at the Innovative Bead Expo's this year but hope to return in 2011.
Classes and Private Parties will be available at Patti's Checker Diner in Hamlin, PA in January and February.
Classes will be available at the WCAA in Honesdale and must be purchased as a "block" of 4 classes on 4 consecutive weeks.
January:
Basic Bead Stringing: we'll explore different stringing materials, how to use crimp beads, design concepts, and making wrapped loops. You'll make a necklace or bracelet of your own design and a pair of earrings.
Classes run from 6:30 - 8:30 PM on January 11, 12, and February 8. Pre-registration is required and secured by a $10 deposit. Due at class will be $8 - $12 depending upon your choice of materials. Additional supplies and tools will be available for purchase.
Beginning Braiding: learn the easy 8-warp round braid that's being shown in so many proijects in the bead magazines. It's fun & easy and you'll leave with a finished necklace.
Classes run from 6:30 - 9:30 PM on January 25, 26, and February 2 Pre-registration is required and secured by a $10 deposit. Due at class will be $15. Additional supplies and tools will be available for purchase.
Basic Wire Wrapping: learn to turn item with no holes into pendants. This technique is great for use on beach glass, sea shells, and cabochons. We"ll start with an easy project using soft wire and then make a project using square sterling silver wire.
Classes run from 6:30 - 8:30 PM on February 8, 9, and 15 Pre-registration is required and secured by a $10 deposit. Due at class will be $15 - $30 depending upon choice of materials, Additional supplies and tools will be available for purchase.
